Mount Singer Trails - Découverte Loop
“Découverte” (Discovery) is one of the loops on the Mount Singer Trails. It's surrounded by diverse plant life, with upwards of 20 rare or endangered species growing in the area. Hikers can also observe the wildlife in Beaver Pond (étang du Castor).
The larger Green Mountains Nature Reserve, managed by Appalachian Corridor, covers the natural habitat of hundreds of plant and animal species, including at least 90 that are threatened or vulnerable. In addition, more than 80 bird species nest in the area every spring.
