Mount Singer Trails - Sommets Loop
“Sommets” (Summits) is one of the loops on the Mount Singer Trails. Intended for experienced hikers, it leads to a one-of-a-kind panoramic view from the top of Mount Singer. On clear days, you can see some of the peaks in the Green and White Mountains on the American side of the border. The Sommets Loop also connects to the Sentiers de l’Estrie, a 200 km network of hiking trails.
The larger Green Mountains Nature Reserve, managed by Appalachian Corridor, covers the natural habitat of hundreds of plant and animal species, including at least 90 that are threatened or vulnerable. In addition, more than 80 bird species nest in the area every spring.
