Rivière-aux-Cerises Marsh
The marsh has almost 6 km of boardwalks and gravel trails providing direct access to nature right in the heart of Magog. Popular with local walkers and runners, it’s the perfect place to observe a range of plant, bird and animal life. Don’t miss the captivating exhibits at the Interpretation Centre. Visitors can also enjoy a relaxing river excursion in a kayak or canoe, or on a paddleboard. Treat yourself to an unforgettable wetland experience!

Designed according to the principles of environmental architecture, the Interpretation Centre at the Rivière-des-Cerises Marsh uses a range of green technologies. Enjoy free admission to both the temporary and permanent exhibits. They provide information on the crucial role played by the marsh in the surrounding ecosystem, while showcasing environmental perspectives on environmental issues. Open daily during the summer from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The rest of the year, the Interpretation Centre is open Wednesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. At the café and gift shop, visitors can take a break and browse local products. A must-see destination!
Get up close and personal with the marsh on a guided kayak tour! Our interpretative guides are available mornings, afternoons and evenings. Sunset outings are especially memorable! Reserve your tour and kayak rental using the online activity calendar. Tours depart from 155 Plage-des-Cantons Road.

Our interpretative guides are all nature lovers with a deep knowledge of the wetland ecosystem. They’ll show you hidden corners of the marsh and give you a deeper appreciation of its many environmental benefits. You’ll never look at a swamp the same way again! Guided group tours are available for groups of at least eight people.
